Hola! Soy una terapista apasionada por trabajar con personas de la comunidad Latina/x. Mi experiencia como terapista se enfoca en personas que han vivido experiencias traumáticas en su vida y/o en los procesos migratorios. Estas experiencias llevan a que el sistema nervioso se altere y tengan dificultad lidiando con emociones intensas de tristeza, miedo, enojo, preocupación, inseguridad personal y problemas en las relaciones interpersonales. Como terapista, les ofrezco un espacio seguro para procesar sus vivencias y les enseño habilidades que les puedes ayudar a regular sus emociones y mejorar su calidad de vida.

El proceso de terapia es intimidante. Requiere que enfrente las dificultades que no le permiten lograr su máximo potencial. La vida está llena de cambios y aprendemos a adaptarnos a ellos. Sin embargo, estos cambios pueden ser difíciles y llevar a síntomas más debilitantes como ansiedad, depresión, e ira, etc. Tal vez estos síntomas no le están pasando a usted, pero los nota en su hijo/a y no sabe cómo ayudarle. Así que, aunque la terapia sea intimidante, puede ser el riesgo necesario de tomar para avanzar hacia el resultado positivo que desea.
