I am a bilingual (Spanish speaking) and bicultural clinician with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in hospital-based clinic settings and mental health community agency settings. My areas of treatment include but are not limited to; trauma, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity formation and conflict, Latino/a/x concerns, multicultural issues, first-generation acculturation conflict, and physical health-related issues and adjustment.

Every path is different as we have each encountered different barriers and challenges in life that has brought us to where we are today. I am here to provide guidance and direction but most importantly empower you to believe in yourself and know that it is possible to be the person you always wanted to be. I work with people who often have an issue or problem which prevents them from fully functioning in life, which affects their ability to be happy. This might be a relationship issue, a personality problem which has bothered them from childhood, or a bio-psycho-social issue like depression or anxiety. I seek to help people by developing a relationship in which we can work in a therapeutic modality that is appropriate for them.

Lou Reyes is a dedicated Licensed Social Worker with over a decade of experience in mental health and addiction counseling. Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling with a Minor in Addictions Treatment from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Lou has been committed to making a positive impact on the lives of her clients. In 2020, Lou achieved her Master of Social Work with a focus on the Social Work Practice of Hispanic Children and Families from Our Lady of The Lake University.

I offer a warm, compassionate space for clients to explore inner struggles in order to achieve a fuller life. I believe in the importance of working through difficult early and current life experiences as a means to transform the story that we tell ourselves into a more empowering healing story. Clients find my safe and non-judgmental approach to therapy helpful as they continue on their healing journey.

We provide a safe listening space for you to be heard and challenged. Being challenged is not meant to be a scary thing. It is an opportunity for you to grow and see the progress that you want to have in your life.
