Groups
Social Skills Group Therapy for Young Adults
I run a 8 to 10 week social skills group therapy applying an evidenced based curriculum intervention program called PEERS. The social skills group therapy are to teach individuals with social skills deficiencies ways to appropriately and significantly improve social skills and social interactions. The social skills group meetings include: *Lesson plans *Instruction *Role-playing and practice in the group session and together in the community. Feedback is provided in order to help learners acquire and practice skills to promote positive social interactions with peers while increasing self-esteem, and reducing anxiety. *Group members may range from 2 to 6 individuals.
