We are a non-profit counseling agency that offers our fees on a sliding scale ranging from $40 - $130 based on monthly income or your ability to pay. We are open days, evenings, and weekends 7 days a week from 9am - 9pm. We have a diverse staff that you can see on our website at LifePractice.org. We are also conducting Free Groups (DBT Skills and a LGBTQ+/Neurodivergent).

Throughout our life experiences we sometimes become clouded by the obstacles that life throws at us, which may cause for our inner voice, your true self, to get pushed down in the process. This ultimately can lead to making decisions that we’re not happy with. My goal is to assist you with guiding out that inner voice into the open and utilizing it to work together to tackle present challenges, while providing an accepting and safe environment for you to be yourself. I believe you have an array of strengths, abilities and skills that can be utilized to assist with the challenges at hand.

Hello, I am Sandra Carlson, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I work with tweens, teens, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have helped people with issues like anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, stress, trauma ,and life changes. I use treatment approaches based on what will best meet your needs, drawing from evidenced-based interventions such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness, amongst other modalities. I believe every person needs someone that will help them through the obstacles life throws their way.
