I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and am skilled at Relationship Building.

I utilize various approaches to counseling such as, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, family systems, play therapy, and coping skills training to help clients improve their quality of life. I am passionate about helping others and my goal is to provide a friendly and supportive environment. Raul S. Arambula, MSW, LCSW, is a compassionate Licensed Social Worker based in Illinois, dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey towards mental well-being. Armed with a Master’s of Social Work from Southern Illinois University, Raul specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide individuals through challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, coping skills, and self-esteem. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Raul possesses a profound understanding of the Latinx community and diverse cultures. This enables him to establish meaningful connections and provide culturally sensitive therapy.

I work primarily with adolescents (ages 10-25), marriages, and men's issues. I currently supervise a team of therapists through Unbroken Family Counseling. I work within this team and, when necessary, work with schools, psychiatrists, and other community resources to help my clients. My ideal client is a teen who doesn't think he/she needs counseling, a marriage that is on the rocks, or a guy dealing with guy stuff (guys know what I'm talking about). I have 10+ years of experience working with families in an individual, couple, and family setting. Whether you are in the process of dating, are in a relationship, or in the process of navigating a breakup or divorce, or somewhere in-between. I work with couples that are having difficulties with emotional connection, falling out of love, struggling with infidelity, and learning to move forward. Love is an emotion, and our past experiences can dictate who we choose in partner selection. Additionally, I also help young adults and older adults, understand their values and how it affects partner selection and finding a balance.
