My ideal client are individuals who are in current crisis situations or fear entering one in the near future and are looking to improve their quality of life through positive reinforcement and emotional outlets. My ideal clientelle would embody those who wish to achieve positive results in their life.

As we journey through life's stages, we encounter peaks, valleys and adverse circumstances that will throw us off course. Choosing the high road can be difficult especially when we are stressed, anxious, facing relational problems, parenting problems and difficulties on the workplace. I will teach you coping skills to deal with these unforeseen situations and even with those that are most anticipated. I subscribe to a proactive approach to therapy; focusing on the individual's strengths, without neglecting practical and real issues of human frailties.

In my journey as an MFT I’ve come to see people as experts of their own lives. I have expertise, but do not assume to be the expert of the lives of others. I listen to the stories you tell about your experiences and I seek to find how the different systems in your life (work, family, relationships, communities, etc.) affect each other and the troubles you may see me about. Within this, I also seek to find the strengths you bring to the table when facing your troubles. It may not always be obvious, but people tend to have strengths that they may not realize. I like to bring them to your attention and remind you they are there.

Our individual therapies include play, creative arts and talk therapy for children and adolescents struggling with functioning in their families, school, community, and social/interpersonal relationships.
