Does your child or teen struggle with anxiety, navigate the world differently, or find traditional talk therapy challenging? I specialize in animal-assisted therapy for neurodivergent, anxious, and grieving youth who connect better through experience than words. Together with my therapy dog, we create a safe space where your child can explore feelings through play, creativity, and healing animal connection. We meet your child exactly where they are. What traditional talk therapy can't always reach, animal-assisted therapy can access!
I specialize in animal-assisted therapy for children and teens (ages 8-16) who connect better through experience than conversation. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, highly anxious, or grieving youth who benefit from indirect processing through meaningful connection with my therapy dog and through play based therapy.
I offer both online and in person options at my office in Northern Colorado Springs. I warmly welcome you to reach out to me and talk to me about your needs through a free 15 minute phone consultation. My practice is affirming and welcoming of clients of all gender identities, orientations, backgrounds and cultures.

Groups
Empowerment through Equines
Work on confidence building, communication skills, cooperation and much more by interacting with horses. Horses are wonderfully sensitive, and can help us make connections between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors through our experiences with them. This is not a riding group. This is offered for those over age 10, with small age based groups for children, adolescents and adults.
