Located in Darlington, SC, I’m in network with Blue Cross and offer a sliding scale. I offer a comprehensive approach and view your situation differently than most counselors. I co-manage my practice with an M.D. and see all ages 2 - 80 years old. I studied exercise and nutrition and use this background to promote a healthy mind and body in my sessions. I excel at assessments and diagnosing emotional and behavioral issues.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a short-term, evidence-based treatment for kids ages 2.5 to 7 years old who exhibit behaviors such as anger, hyperactivity, trouble focusing, frequent tantrums, aggression, and anxiety. Caregivers learn and implement play therapy techniques that help kids regulate their emotions, increase focus, and strengthen the parent-child relationship. Caregivers learn concrete strategies to promote consistency, predictability, and motivate their child to follow directions. PCIT with Toddlers is an adaptation of PCIT for kids ages 12-24 months with similar behavior concerns.

I'm originally from Upstate New York and lived in several states before settling in the Greenville area about 30 years ago. I received my Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 1994 and my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 1997. I am currently licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina.
