I work collaboratively with clients to establish mutually agreed upon therapeutic goals and provide a comfortable and compassionate space to explore, discuss, and be heard. My therapy style combines DBT, CBT, ACT and The Gottman Method and is tailored to the specific needs of each individual as they walk towards self-discovery and well-being. With these approaches, I empower my clients to identify and achieve their goals by drawing on their unique individual strengths. Consequently, they are able to gain a deeper understanding of who they are and how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact their functioning and relationships.

My focus is on increasing my client's self-awareness, helping people overcome painful thoughts and feelings and tapping into their natural abilities to navigate challenges. Through the process of therapy, individuals achieve what they want and develop effective solutions that fit with their values and how they want to lead their lives.

Does someone you love struggle with rapid changes in mood, impulsivity, suicidal ideation, interpersonal difficulties or other problems with emotions/behaviors? This group is designed to help family members improve their coping abilities by providing an overview of DBT skills. This allows family members to understand the language of DBT, facilitating the integration of skills loved ones are learning and practicing. This group will cover: The Biosocial Model of emotion dysregulation, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness skills. Additionally, setting realistic expectations for loved ones and yourself, managing crises and observing your own limits will be addressed.
