As an art therapist, I work with children, adolescents, and young adults to better understand, express, and manage emotions. I strive to help my clients feel heard and validated. Together we work on developing a greater sense of self by working on self-esteem, confidence, and emotional intelligence. With an extensive background in Special Education, I provide specialized support- academic confidence, executive functioning development, and emotional/behavioral regulation, to students with various learning differences.
My approach is art therapy-based and includes mindfulness, talk therapy, CBT, and yoga. Without the need to rely on verbal language, art therapy provides clients with a creative way to express themselves and explore challenges in a more approachable manner.
