I'm Dr. Sophia Norman, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neurodivergent and trauma affirming therapy and psychological assessment. I work with adults, teens, college students, and graduate students navigating ADHD, autism/ASD, AuDHD, anxiety, trauma, burnout, perfectionism, and relationship or attachment concerns. I believe healing happens within a relationship built on trust, curiosity, humility, and genuine connection—one where your identities, experiences, and ways of moving through the world are seen and valued.
I provide individual therapy and assessments, including Autism Spectrum Assessments, ADHD Evaluations, and IEP/academic support. My approach is feminist and culturally responsive, with an emphasis on understanding the whole person rather than trying to fit you into a particular box. I draw upon psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, ACT, and somatic theories.
My communication style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I’ll support you, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge you when it’s helpful—and I’ll probably use some humor along the way. Therapy and assessment can both be vulnerable work, and sometimes a little levity makes it easier to take the next step.
