I am a licensed psychologist who provides psychotherapy to adults and couples. I aim to create a warm, supportive, and contemplative space for self-exploration, to help bring into awareness and transform patterns that are getting in the way of living a full and satisfying life. By exploring the underlying causes of suffering, and becoming curious about one's own mind, greater freedom becomes possible. I see this process as a dialogue in which I take an active and engaged role, asking questions and offering ideas.

I have training in psychodynamic theory and technique, and approach therapy as a collaboration towards reducing suffering, increasing self-knowledge, and building deeper and more compassionate relationships with oneself and others. I specialize in addressing depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and issues relating to sexuality and creativity.

I received my PhD from Adelphi University and did my post-doctoral training at the William Alanson White Institute. I am happy to assist patients in submitting their claims for out of network reimbursement.
