I especially enjoy working with couples navigating difficulties with communication and connection. I use an attachment lens, acknowledging that our most intimate relationships bring up intense emotions. I focus on creating the conditions to increase safety and authentic vulnerability so partners can connect in new ways. When working with individuals, I welcome all parts of you - your daily anxieties, transformations and realizations, grief, relationships, pleasure, and trauma. I want to help you discover your embodied sense of a life well lived so that you feel aligned in the world.
I’m deeply informed by an environmental and social justice lens. The challenges we face as a collective begin with the individual, and the individual is profoundly shaped by the collective. I’m informed by my meditative practices and Buddhist psychology training, as well as IFS & ACT modalities. I’m a counselor because I love cultivating genuine connections.
I believe we are most whole when we’re able to touch into and care for the deepest parts of ourselves. The pain may remain, but it makes all the difference when it can be acknowledged and held. I enjoy working with couples and individuals using a collaborative approach based on authenticity, mindfulness, and compassion.
