I am passionate about helping people cultivate more authentic, fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. I especially enjoy working with adults from marginalized communities, including BIPOC, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, immigrant and first-generation individuals, and those in polyamorous & CNM relationships. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I bring an intersectional, culturally informed approach to every session.

I provide insight-oriented, depth psychotherapy grounded in a decolonized, anti-racist, and social justice-oriented framework. Professional Expertise: Trauma recovery, Relational Concerns (trust, intimacy, closeness), Cultural/Ethnic Identity concerns, Gender Identity concerns, and working with other therapists & mental health professionals.

I am the founder of the Aguirre Center of Inclusive Psychotherapy, a practice focused on providing culturally-responsive and affirming services BIPOCs and to gender, sexuality or relationship minorities. Our practice is sex-positive, trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, affirming of folks from LGBTQ+, Kink, and Polyamory communities.

Young Adults Psychotherapy Group (Online)

This online group provides a supportive environment to process personal struggles and explore healthier ways of relating to others. This group is ideal for young adults (ages 20-35) who wish to gain self-awareness and to cultivate healthier relationships in their lives. Individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, relationship struggles, poor self-esteem/self-confidence, conflict/confrontation avoidance, and trust issues can benefit from this group. This group strives to be an inclusive space that is affirming of diverse identities; all cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities are welcome. An initial assessment is required and 12-session minimum commitment.

BIPOC Therapists Consultation & Process Group

This is a process-oriented group experience for Latinx & BIPOC therapists interested in furthering their personal and professional development.. This group will be facilitated from a relational, interpersonal and Feminist orientation rooted within an antiracist, de-colonized framework that promotes resilience and the development of cultural humility. The here-and-now is a central focus of the group: all thoughts, feelings and associations to the process are explored and here-now-dynamics among group members will be highlighted as they occur. Members are encouraged to exchange honest feedback, and to practice relating in more authentic and emotionally vulnerable manner.
