I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and personality disorders, i.e., borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorders, trauma, sexual abuse, self-esteem issues, PTSD, clients dealing with adjustment problems, grief & loss, and work-related stressors. I also provide supervision.
Additional treatment modalities that I use include mindfulness practice, dialectal behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. In addition to providing services to the civilian population, I also have experience working with the military community to include Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, and Veterans.
I believe it is vital to assist clients with health management while addressing mental health issues. I am caring and compassionate and recognize that there is still a stigma associated with seeking mental health treatment. As a result, I appreciate anyone that takes time to care for their state of mind as it is as important as maintaining physical health.
