Hello! I am a Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Transgender Care Therapist. I specialize in working with BIPOC individuals, immigrants, adult children of immigrants, "third culture kids", and those from the global majority. I practice from an anti-racist and anti-colonialism lens and believe in decolonizing mental health and working with my clients to explore their cultural identities and narratives.
I also provide gender affirming to gender expansive individuals and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I approach therapy with a lens of non-judgmental curiosity and strive to bring humility, humor and creativity. I utilize art making and expressive therapies to help facilitate greater self-acceptance, self-confidence, personal growth, and to empower you to create positive change. I believe art making has the power to heal and the magic to transform.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming and warm environment for you while also challenging you to explore other dimensions of yourself and others. I hope to make your journey in therapy validating, supportive, and strive to make you feel heard, understood, and accepted.
