I work with introspective, curious people who want to understand how they are influencing the shape of their lives. Our work together is an opportunity to come into closer contact with what is beneath the surface of these patterns, to connect with how fears, desires, and personal histories inform your choices and beliefs.
I come from a background in the arts, and many of my clients are high achievers, artists, and academics navigating self-doubt, shame, and creative blocks. I also work with couples in distress, whether navigating cyclical conflict or recovering from a rupture, such as infidelity.
My approach is exploratory yet pragmatic, and I use humor to create levity and ease in session. I draw on psychodynamic and attachment theories, meaning we will explore how past experiences shape the way you understand yourself and move through relationships. You don't need to arrive with answers. Direction tends to emerge through the conversation itself.
