Hi, I'm Sonica (pronounced just like Monica, but with an S). I specialize in self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, people-pleasing behaviors, and perfectionism. I am truly passionate about helping clients find self-love and reach self-acceptance. I often draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness based and somatic practices. My approach is to help you gain insight, practical tools/coping skills, and get to the root of your problems, not just bandaid them.

As a first-generation Indian-American, I understand the feelings of overwhelm and frustration in trying to find not only a culturally sensitive, but affirming therapist. I specialize in working with teens and adults that identify within the BIPOC spectrum.

After getting to know your story and therapy goals, we'll work together to build a sense of felt safety before tackling unhealthy thinking patterns, building self-compassion, and learning healthier ways to relate to yourself and others.
