I am newly Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with 5+ years of experience working with various populations such as children, teens, and adults. My ideal client is someone 12+ going through a major life transition and/or realizing the need to address current and past emotional wounds. Someone who may struggle with co-occuring disorders such as anxiety, depression, and/or PTSD or addictions seeking alternative approaches outside of just talk therapy.
I am EMDR trained 3+ years of experience and utilize CBT and DBT approaches. I integrate family systems therapy often looking at generational trauma/generational wisdom, Gestalt therapy looking at the here and now, harm reduction approaches, somatic therapy (body mind psychotherapy), depth (carl Jung) psychotherapy, and transpersonal (spiritual) approaches.
First, is creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship for the client to open up and share thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I meet the client where they are at while also creating realistic goals to guide them to reach their full potential. If the client is open to holistic approaches we can explore that if not we do not have to.
