While DBT is the effective foundation of my work, I also draw from approaches that support different emotional and relational needs without straying from a high‑fidelity, skills‑based framework. RO‑DBT can be especially helpful for people who tend to hold things in, work hard to stay in control, or feel disconnected from others. DBT‑C offers children and families tools for navigating big feelings together with more confidence and communication. When anxiety or OCD becomes overwhelming, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP) in a steady, collaborative way that helps clients face fears at a pace that feels safe and supported.
Over the years, I’ve used DBT to support clients facing suicidal thoughts, self‑harm, interpersonal difficulties, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression, Schizoaffective Disorder, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD. Many people come to DBT after other treatments haven’t been as effective as clients had hoped.
I work with care, humility, and genuine respect for the effort it takes to reach out. Life can be beautiful and surprising, and we are capable of growing through and beyond trauma; yet many of us still find ourselves overwhelmed by the responsibilities, expectations, and emotions that come with connection and change. I invite you on that journey with me.
