Hi, I am Sonia from Lumena Therapy. If you are seeking support, I extend my heart to you. I want you to thrive, experience peace and live authentically despite trauma, present symptoms or other obstacles in your life. With experience in social work since 2007 and psychotherapy since 2013, I have supported diverse individuals, couples and families through adversity and complex mental health conditions. I provide therapy to individuals and couples dedicated to improving relational, sexual and mental health by offering a skilled and safe therapeutic space to explore emotions, identity, culture and your innate healing potential.
First, I conduct a biopsychsocial assessment and formulate therapy goals collaboratively with you. I am an integrative therapist that combines several modalities to personalize therapy specifically for your unique needs, goals and experiences. I have a range of specialty trainings in evidence based, psychodynamic, couples, trauma, somatic and sex therapies.
