I am a therapist and the director of a small group therapy practice, Waypoint Counseling & Wellness (waypointwi.com). Our team works with individuals 18 and older and offers a variety of specializations and approaches to improve mental health and wellbeing. I am a certified Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist (DARTT), Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Yoga instructor. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, ADD/ADHD and PTSD/complex trauma. I utilize techniques from DBT, CBT, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, EMDR, and various holistic processes.
The holistic and somatic training I have received allows me to assist clients in deepening their understanding of the mind-body connection and develop skills they can use in daily life to address symptoms of concern. I guide clients towards decreasing negative thoughts and behaivors while developing a compassionate and healthy relationship with themselves.
