Hi, my name is Lori Bachman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over twenty years of experience delivering counseling services to people seeking support and guidance through difficult times in their lives. I utilize a variety of theoretic styles that best suit a person individually. Using a client-centered approach, I combine a soft and direct approach and use models such as trauma informed somatic experience, rational emotive, cognitive and dialectical therapies to explore the past and present to aid in the development of coping skills to improve one's emotional and overall wellbeing.

I work with adults and young people (15+), specializing in trauma, body image problems (including eating disorders), relationship issues (such as communication, boundaries, dealing with conflict) and mood disturbance, such as anxiety. I also have expertise in supporting people to improve performance in specific areas, such as career or sport. My great passion is helping people find joy and live fulfilling lives. My work is dedicated to support people re-write unhelpful patterns and to re-discover their strength and resiliency through deeper self awareness.
