Maternal Bereavment Virtual Group Psychotherapy
When a child dies parents are faced with enduring complex traumatic grief that can sometimes persist indefinitely. Trauma related symptoms such as shock, disbelief, inconsolable pain, and distressed relationships, can be debilitating. Life falls apart. Skills and knowledge based psychotherapy are critical components of your healing process. Research shows that shared experience with other bereaved parents provides critical support. I will guide you in fostering healthy affective ways of coping. Preregistration is required. Group meets for 90 minutes on May 5 and 12, 5:00-6:30 pm Pacific Time. Registration begins April 15 via pamelaashkenazy@gmail.com
