As an Associate Clinical Professor at Yale Department of psychiatry, I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. My therapeutic approach is to help individuals and couples better understand the conflicts in their life and find healthy ways to resolve or cope with them tapping into their strengths and their social support. In addition to my private practice, I have been working at the Department of Veterans Affairs for many years as a supervisory psychologist and I have published extensively in the field. I have also supervised and trained psychologists and psychiatrists in psychotherapy both in the US and abroad.
You may be experiencing a particularly challenging time in your life or having symptoms of anxiety, sadness, irritability, or lack of motivation. Video services available as needed. I offer intensive and emergency couples therapy (3-4 hrs/session) on a limited basis.
