I am a passionate, person centered therapist, who believes that building rapport and finding solutions together is the most powerful way an individual can transform their life. I use solution focused, motivational interviewing, and person centered therapy techniques that is individualized for each person in therapy. I believe in peoples power to heal themselves with help from both human and spiritual sources and to be resilient.
I have worked with adults and collegiates in a dual diagnosis treatment center for over 6 years. I have extensive knowledge of the addiction and recovery process. I have extensive knowledge and experience with both behavioral addictions and substance addiction Issues.
I offer a safe and nurturing environment for people to find solutions for their struggles. I am open an open minded and nonjudgmental therapist. Education: BA in Psychology with a minor In Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies and a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Texas Tech University.
