Life is challenging at times and can leave you feeling anxious and overwhelmed, vulnerable and depleted. Seeking support becomes crucial to your wellbeing. We will work together to increase your coping skills and develop healthy ways for you to manage your emotions. We will identify self-defeating thoughts, making your mind more "user-friendly", and change unhealthy patterns of behavior. I am deeply invested in your growth and sense of empowerment. I welcome individuals, couples, and families to my practice. I also welcome those who are inspired to work more deeply on their spiritual growth.
I offer a wide range of approaches for healing: Brainspotting, CBT, Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy, and Polyvagal Theory. Additional interventions are yoga therapy, mindfulness training, and meditation instruction. These interventions, when added to traditional "talk therapy", can offer an additional level of healing to mind, body, and spirit.
I regularly offer workshops on Mindful Living, and am co-author of a school/agency curriculum for social and emotional learning (SEL), Mindfulness & Movement for Children. Prior to my psychotherapy practice, I was a Special Education Teacher in the elementary and secondary schools.
