Hello! I am very excited to work with you. I have almost 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families in a multitude of settings. I absolutely love working with people of all ages and helping facilitate positive changes. My style is unique and combines components of several different modalities in order to have a holistic and individualized approach to everyone that I have the pleasure of working with.

MensRole specializes in male issues and helping those who have men and boys in their lives. I have worked for the past 10+ years in residential treatment with some of the most challenging youth in the state. At the request of many former clients and caregivers, I have finally moved into private practice to help those families avoid the need for residential treatment. I continue to work collaboratively with other therapists, schools, Department of Corrections, Child and Family Services and Child Protective.

Welcome! Choosing a therapist is a big decision and I appreciate your consideration! I have 30 years of experience working with people of all ages dealing with every issue under the sun, including trauma such as childhood abuse, sexual assault, and accidents. I enjoy teaching better communication to couples. Though not a veteran myself, I was an Air Force "brat" and know how difficult it can be to transition back from active duty. I have traveled widely and appreciate cultural diversity. I like to help people make the right decisions for them regarding issues like staying in or leaving college or a marriage, coming out, etc.

I have worked with many clients who need to find ways to deal with their anxiety and/or depression and teach them how to trust their own intuition through Equine Assisted Counseling and various treatment interventions including but not limited to mindfulness based stress reduction, strength based and solution focused life coaching, CBT and/or DBT strategies.
