I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, difficulty with stress management and sleep, postpartum issues, relationship issues, spirituality, and parenting issues. I am passionate about improving maternal mental health, especially for those parenting young children. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused therapy, but strive to find the right treatment for each client as an individual. I am also Phase 1 Brainspotting Trained. I am licensed to work with clients in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
I love working with moms. The transition to motherhood is so rewarding, yet so challenging. It can be lonely & anxiety-provoking. Finding the right work/life balance as a mom can be particularly difficult. Together, we can work through these phases and help you feel competent & comfortable in your role as a mom!
Perissos Therapy focuses on women's issues and specializes in supporting moms in ALL the stressors, specifically including how mom-ing impacts your identity, your body-image, and your relationships. We also specialize in supporting moms from pre-conception, fertility struggles and perinatal and infant loss.
