I earned both my Masters of Science in Art Therapy and in Mental Health Counseling from Emporia State University. I enjoy working with clients of all ages from diverse backgrounds, particularly supporting individuals to navigate the stresses of daily living. Additionally, I specialize in behavioral strategies to help parents support their children towards healthy growth. I utilize a solution-focused framework with an array of therapeutic approaches to best fit the needs of each client. I enjoy utilizing the creative process to help promote self-discovery, increase self-efficacy, and develop strategies to improve daily functioning.

I serve a wide array of clients. These include individuals, families, and children. My background, skills, and experience lend themselves particularly well to younger clients. My practice most often addresses issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationships, anger management, attachment, divorce, emotion regulation, parent-child relationship, sibling conflict, self-esteem, blended families, and adoption.

I believe in a creative, personal approach to healing. It is my hope to create a safe and welcoming environment to help my clients during difficult times in their lives. I feel strongly that therapy is a journey to be walked together with client and therapist. Through a strengths based perspective, my sessions focus on emotional healing as well as positive self growth. I work with all stages of life and life issues. Whether a client's struggles are centered around anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attention and hyperactivity, marriage and family issues, trauma, or mood issues, I am willing to help.

I harbor a profound passion for supporting those within the infertility and pregnancy loss community, aiding individuals dealing with the grief of losing loved ones, including cherished pets. My expertise also extends to assisting individuals contending with complex trauma through EMDR therapy, and I work with children dealing with anxiety disorders as well as anger management. I am very proficient in Spanish, and can see both Spanish and English speakers.
