[NOW ACCEPTING ONLINE/REMOTE CLIENTS] In my opinion, there is nothing more powerful than authentic human connection. The connection built between therapist and client has the ability to foster immense change and growth. As a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist I feel truly honored to be trusted with this responsibility and want nothing more than to create a safe space for my clients to share their stories.
I have facilitated sessions with adults, adolescents, groups, couples, and families. I am well versed in drug prevention/psychoeducation and have traveled to schools across the country speaking to students about the dangers of drugs, self-esteem, body image issues, and sexuality.
I feel passionate about my work with addiction, but have also learned that it is merely a symptom of some underlying issue. Trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression can all lead to some form of self medication. It then becomes the goal of therapy to work together to engage new, healthier coping skills.

Body Image & Self Acceptance
I wonder if you can recall the first time you compared your body to someone else's. Was it during middle school PE? Ballet class? Shopping at popular stores? Puberty? We have all had moments of thinking, "she is so much thinner than me", "why does her body look like that when she's sitting?", "are people looking at me?", etc. My hope for this group is that we can come together and speak on our unique experiences with body comparison in the hopes of achieving body acceptance and a new degree of appreciation for our ONE BODY.
