Hi there, I'm Solange. It's a true honor for me to be a part of your healing journey. I believe strongly in our human need for a listening ear and the healing that comes from it. As a person-centered therapist, I consciously work to see your world through your eyes. This allows room for the safe space necessary to process your unique story. With a flexible approach to therapy, I can use the most effective methods to fit your needs. From coping with life stressors to digging deep, I go at your pace. I currently provide individual counseling to individuals facing challenges such as grief, anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD and more.
I recognize that everyone grows in their own way. To support you, I may use a variety of approaches tailored to your needs, such as Narrative Therapy (storytelling), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (thoughts and behaviors), Person-Centered Therapy (personal feelings), or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
In our first session, we'll get to know each other, discuss your needs, goals, and reasons for seeking therapy. I'll explain my approach and ensure you're comfortable with it. As we progress, you'll gain new perspectives and insights to support your healing journey. I’ll encourage self-compassion and celebrate your wins along the way!
