Possessing almost 10 years' experience as a Christian-counselor we may also focus on building a strong and resilient faith or aspects of your faith which you believe is missing from your life.
Among my theoretical orientations, CBT, MBCT, ACT I utilize a faith-based approach to treating mental health conditions, relationship/adjustment issues, trauma, emotional distress, abuse and addiction. Working in Public Child-Welfare for 20 years and Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment for five years prior to that.
I bring a unique combination of interventions and skills to overcoming some of life's most complicated issues. In addition to the traditional trauma narrative framework, I have added emotional healing of soul wounds through prayer. As well a Post Traumatic Growth approach. All, as a pathway to healing and thriving.
