My approach is deeply collaborative, working alongside you to discover more helpful ways to approach the challenges in your life. My role is to guide our conversations through intentional questions and specific practices. Our goal will be to support you as you reconnect with your values, skills, and preferences, as well as the people you consider family and community.
I have over 18 years of experience working in San Diego in community organizations and private practice. In addition to providing therapy, I am an Adjunct Faculty at the USD Marriage and Family therapy program since 2012 where I teach classes as well as provide Clinical Supervision to master level students in English and Spanish.
I work with individuals, couples and families from different cultural backgrounds dealing with challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief , substance abuse and life transitions. I also work with transnational families and bicultural couples. I offer free 30 minutes consultation. I provide therapy in English and Spanish.
