Announcement icon I am currently offering secure telehealth video sessions for clients in Oregon during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You might be feeling more sad, angry, worried, or lonely than usual. Juggling work, family and school might have you doubting yourself, struggling to connect and feel loved in relationships, or feeling dissatisfied with your career. If you are Black, Indigenous, a person of color, queer, trans, gender expansive, or live with a disability, you may be tired of being strong. You may notice certain spaces where you don’t feel comfortable being your full self. In therapy you can feel understood, valued, and empowered to heal and grow. In therapy you can explore and celebrate your culture, your wisdom, your strengths, and your identities.
I provide individual counseling, play therapy, and child-parent relationship therapy. My next group for women of color begins Tuesday, April 20th. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University with a focus in chronic illness and disability. I am a woman of color and the proud daughter of Muslim immigrants.
As of March 2021 I am accepting new private pay clients. I do not accept insurance and have a WAITLIST for sliding scale clients. Sessions are available Monday-Thursday from 9am-6pm. Contact me to schedule a free 20-minute consultation so we can get to know one another and find out if we are a good fit. Looking forward to meeting you and working together!

Sofia Jasani's Groups

Women and Femmes of Color

What would it feel like to visit a healing space every week and be supported by other women & femmes of color? How would your life and relationships be better if you could share your inner experiences with folks who understand you? Group therapy is an effective and affordable way to cultivate resilience, improve your relationship skills, and find your voice. Being part of a group is a beautiful way to know you're not alone. Therapy groups meet weekly for 10 weeks. My next virtual therapy group for BIPOC women and femmes begins Tuesday, April 20th, 2021.
