Hello, My name is Socorro "Cora" Dennis, and I am a Florida-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults (18 and up) and specialize in anxiety, stress, grief, and addiction using Client-centered and strength-based approaches and incorporating both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help my clients make progress and start feeling better.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I utilize client-centered and strength-based practices to help my clients explore and understand what they are experiencing while incorporating CBT and DBT.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment. I use compassion, empathy, and validation for all of my clients.
