About

I am a licensed Marriage & Family therapist, licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, certified PEERS instructor, and credentialed teacher. I have effectively taught social skills privately and in school settings to children, teens, and young adults with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia for over 20 years. In addition to social skills groups, I can provide one-on-one therapy to children, teens, and young adults experiencing specific concerns. I also provide mentoring/therapy services to parents with child rearing issues and concerns.
Social Skills Development Center was started in response to the need for a center to teach important social skills to individuals lacking the ability to do so themselves. My personal experience working with school districts, teachers, and navigating the IEP process comforts the scores of parents who have taken these classes.
In order to succeed later in life, students need to acquire the skills necessary to thrive in their own social networks, employment fields, and educational arenas. Upon completion of the session. we see a huge improvement in our students' whole outlook on life as their self-esteem improves as well as their social life. Contact us today to join open groups.
