CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. I specialize in treating the following client populations: high functioning autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression and trauma. The needs of my clients include: struggles with impulse control, emotional regulation, mood disorders, bullying and social anxiety, to name a few. I work to help my clients develop impulse control strategies, teach coping skills, positive internal dialogue and socially acceptable behavior. I use social stories to support and reinforce therapeutic goals as well as role playing and behavioral rehearsal.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness with guided imagery & Internal Family Systems as the primary modalities of treatment. I have also had extensive clinical training in hypnosis & strategic psychotherapy. Additionally, I utilize experiential therapies to include artistic outlets & play during counseling sessions
