HI! My name is Smith (they/them) and I deeply value clients feeling heard and believed. One of the coolest things I get to do is walk with people as they move toward what wellness means to them. Clients I work with are dealing with anxiety, depression, body image struggles, disordered eating, coming out, transitioning, dissociation, relationship conflict, acute and complex trauma, and more.
With a broad background in traumatic stress, expressive arts, and theology, I am always drawn to what we learn and unlearn about ourselves in life’s roughest moments and the sense we make out of it all. I love to work with LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent adults and adolescents, and their important people.
I practice a holistic, intersectional, person-centered approach to therapy. I use modalities ranging from expressive arts and movement to Cognitive Processing Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Above all, I take an approach that responds to what feels right for you.
