I am a clinical psychologist, licensed in New York and New Jersey with over 20 years of counselling experience. I specialize in working with couples and individuals who struggle with communication skills as well as emotional and physical intimacy. I am a certified Schema therapist and have taken multiple trainings in Acceptance and Commitment therapy as well as Emotionally Focused therapy. In addition to working with individuals and couples, I also lead groups for men in challenging relationships. Please feel free to call me to find out more about the groups.
In psychotherapy, we work on recognizing patterns of behavior, thinking and emotions and discover how these patterns are being maintained today. My main focus is on helping people challenge these dysfunctional patterns and connect with what is truly important in their lives so they can shift their focus from problems to solutions.
My therapy sessions and office are a safe space for everyone - LGBTQ friendly. I am bilingual ( English and Hebrew ) and can conduct therapy sessions in either language. I offer both in- person and telehealth sessions to residents of New York and New Jersey. My working hours include weekends to accommodate couples and individuals who do shift work.

Groups
Men in challenging relationships

In this group, we will address in a safe, non-judgemental and highly supportive environment the diverse range of experiences of men in relationships that are either turbulent and high in conflict or else semi-dead where there is little to no intimacy. One of the major goals of this group is to break the barrier of silence and shame that prevents men from getting the support that they need as they struggle to navigate challenging relationships on their own. Respect for different needs, preferences and perspectives will be a guiding principle of the group. Group sessions last ninety minutes.
