My role is to help you utilize your strengths and share my expertise so you can develop new insights and skills to make positive life changes.

I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages with a wide range of mental health issues. These include but are not limited to Alcohol and Drug related issues, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Dual Diagnosis and relationship related issues. My training started at The University of Kentucky studying Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2005. I have a passion for what I do and cannot imagine doing anything else.

At Central Kentucky Counseling Associates, we serve a wide variety of clients and needs ranging from the more common depression, anxiety issues to more complex chronic mental illness, addiction, family conflicts and more. We have highly trained and highly skills clinicians available to get you quickly scheduled and to meet you where you are at! -Whether you need in-home counseling, in-school counseling for your child or if you prefer the traditional setting of coming to the office, we will provide effective mental health counseling treatment to get you on the road to the change you've been hoping for.

Virtual and in- person sessions being offered. I work with all ages, and families to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral problems. I discover and get to know each person individually. I base my counseling style on my clients needs, strengths and goals. I utilize multiple models in the counseling experience: Advanced Accelerated Resolution; ART, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral and Play Therapies. I apply Therapeutic Art Techniques to the treatment process. I also have had real life experiences dealing and overcoming life stressors of my own. I offer Mental Health, ADHD and Parenting Assessments/ Classes.

December 2023- Short wait-list for new clients, 4-6 weeks. Appointments are T, W, Th during the day. Life can be challenging and therapy can be an important support during times of uncertainty and change. I enjoy working with clients to increase awareness of their strengths and develop skills for coping with challenges. I welcome and have worked with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, including clients from other countries and cultures, Black clients and other people of color and LGBTQ+ clients.
