I specialize in working with fire fighters, EMS workers, public safety and other health professionals focusing on issues from PTSD and compassion fatigue to relationship conflict and retirement. This unique population can benefit from working collaboratively with a professional who is culturally competent and understands the ins and outs of emergency service work. If you're not a first responder, that's OK too! Trauma, stress and burnout affect all of us at some time. For all the night shift workers or parents putting littles to bed, I offer appointments through 9:00pm!
Prolonged exposure to trauma, irregular sleep cycles, stress and burnout are significant stressors and PTSD and EMDR are hot topics for treatment. But what is right for you?
