I specialize in working with individuals experiencing grief and anxiety. Grief can be a complex and challenging process, and I provide a supportive and nurturing space for clients to explore their emotions, find meaning in their loss, and gradually heal. Anxiety is another area of expertise, and I assist individuals in understanding the underlying causes of their anxiety and developing practical tools to manage and reduce its impact on their daily lives. Miriam Rivkin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2021. She has a Master's Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Edinboro University as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Judaic Studies from Maimonides College. Miriam's philosophy is that everyone can gain from having a place where they feel safe to explore their feelings and aspirations yet motivated to find and become the best possible form of themselves.

Dr. Rakos received his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Kent State University and his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He recently retired from his position as associate dean for faculty and program development in the College of Sciences and Health Professions at Cleveland State University, where he also was a professor of psychology. Dr. Rakos is widely published in the areas of assertiveness training, self-management, law and psychology, and cultural analysis, and is the author of Assertive Behavior: Theory, Research and Training.

Steve Fratantonio is a licensed mental health counselor studying for his doctorate in counseling psychology. He has more than 15 years of experience providing mental health care services to children, adolescents and adults in private practice and community mental health. His specialty area of interest is working with both adults and adolescents, as well as their families. He has advanced training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and alternatives for families: cognitive behavioral therapy (AF-CBT).

I am a licensed social worker who has worked in a variety of settings to empower and support vulnerable populations. I trained in the neonatal intensive care unit of my local Level One trauma center in NEO helping parents navigate the care needs of their new child as well as their own physical and behavioral health needs. My training also includes working with patients at the Columbus Free Clinic, women in transitional supportive housing and survivors of domestic violence. I have extensive experience in helping guide individuals through complex social safety net programs and providing referrals to community support agencies.

I have a passion for working with older adults and anyone experiencing transition in their life. I believe that everyone can benefit from a safe space to bring their worries and concerns. In my 30 years of experience as a child and adult clinical psychologist, I have developed a diverse set of assessment and therapeutic skills, allowing me to provide optimal care to children, adults and families. I am a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and my specialties include helping families going through the difficulties of divorce, parent coordination, preserving a cooperative and collaborative environment to keep the children's best interests a priority, and conducting court-ordered custody evaluations. Attorneys and courts frequently request these services in order to help resolve child custody and parenting disputes.

I believe that people are curious and usually strive to make sense of their internal selves and the world around them. In this process we are often guided, influenced, and diverted by various factors. These factors are endless and include, but are not limited to; experiences, parents, society, friends, work, and morals. Laura Palisin received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Dayton and her master's degree in community counseling from Kent State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in outpatient, inpatient and school settings. She has advanced training in trauma focused therapy including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).
