About
Hello! It is my honor and passion to help bring about meaningful, positive change in your life. My approach synthesizes research-based practices and psychological insight, drawing from attachment, emotion-focused therapy, internal family systems, and somatic psychology. I value collaboration and partnership in the therapeutic process in order to instill a sense of agency and empowerment that you innately possess. As your therapist, I am empathic, compassionate, non-judgmental, patient, and open. My focus is to help you process and heal from life’s challenges and transgressions; you deserve to live a fulfilling, peaceful life.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families coming from all stages of life facing a variety of issues. My special interests include working with trauma, identity, sexual disorders, and relational challenges. Other issues I have experience working with include depression, anxiety, substance use, infidelity, crisis, and family conflict.
Though you are not defined by your past, I hold a special place for recognizing how it has impacted you and compassionately explore how it has shaped the way you respond to events in your life as well as the adaptive strategies/patterns that may have been wired within you. Healing will not always be linear, but I will be there with you every step of the way.
