One of the most challenging steps of seeking help is trying to identify who you want to trust to help guide you through the process. Finding the right therapist can be a difficult and pain-staking process and I applaud you for taking this step. As your therapist, I want to support you in navigating difficult emotions, finding better understanding of yourself and accessing your strengths so you can face the challenges that life hands us. I want to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change.
I specialize in treating young adults and adolescents who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, chronic illness, and depression. I have experience with managing ADHD symptoms and academic-related anxiety. I create a non-judgmental space that promotes curiosity and personal growth. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ population.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating various evidence-based techniques and tailoring them to each client's unique needs. My work stems from evidence-based practice such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
