Throughout the years I've been a counselor, I've learned that I especially love working with people who feel stuck, burdened, and generally curious about themselves and what they want from their time here on earth. I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic tools and approaches that I tailor to each client I see based on my clinical intuition and what each client gravitates towards. My personal experience with trauma, addiction, and therapy led me to I where I am today as a person/therapist. I offer my clients my curiosity, my compassion, and my presence, alongside various therapeutic tools I've picked up throughout my experience and education. One such tool is Accelerated Resolution Therapy which is an evidence-based treatment intervention that's been shown successful in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, and grief.
I've learned from personal experience what it feels like to feel stuck, trapped, and overwhelmed. Sometimes just being in the presence of another person to hear your pain, your grief, and your racing thoughts is what you need to feel connected and hopeful again.
