I work with Exult Healthcare. I am currently accepting applications for LPCa supervision. I specialize in teen & adult mood disorders, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, and developing social support needs for the neurodiverse. These days people are so much more connected, but this means there are more eyes than ever on a person. That is stressful. There are expectations from so many sources now. Unseen, unspoken issues of abuse, family conflict, and peer relations are also prevalent in this age. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults understand their world and manage the sometimes complex emotions that are present as a result.
I offer a combination approach of Trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, and REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy). I also offer structured DBT as an alternative approach for those who would benefit. I primarily see my clients on one-on-one, but also offer family therapy sessions to help mediate difficult issues, build connections, and reduce resentments.
The people of today are under social pressure like never before. I offer a safe place to talk, learn, and be validated in your feelings and experiences. I believe the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I want to build a place where my clients can laugh, cry, feel motivated, and learn.
