Connecting the dots to understand how your childhood (upbringing, trauma, stressful events, family) may be contributing to your distress today can be extremely eye opening and transformative. In session I use many deeper brain therapies to support transformational change. Healing and becoming a secure capable human is the goal and completely attainable. I view therapy as a collaboration, and as a Mind-Body Therapist I am an active participant and guide.
My focus- Complex Trauma, Highly Sensitive People, anxiety, Misophonia, & Mind-Body Syndromes also known as Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS) - chronic pain, IBS, Fibromyalgia, fatigue, pelvic pain such as Vulvodynia. I am fascinated about neuroplacticity and memory reconsolidation, how our brains can update and change, and how we can heal.
I share tools to support nervous system regulation and the mind. I am Certified in EMDR for trauma. I use Coherence Therapy (certified) to explore unconscious belief systems & am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I'm also trained in Deep Brain Reorienting, a cutting edge trauma therapy.
