My focus is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your foundations, current experiences, and potential. I am currently practicing with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families. I have worked extensively with people of all ages who have experienced trauma/significant stress, and those who live with anxiety, anger, substance abuse, and depression. I also enjoy supporting people who are experiencing life transitions (grief/loss, becoming parents, divorce, job changes, etc.), and those who struggle with perfectionism, shame, and guilt.

I’m a Licensed clinical professional counselor and "licensed mental health counselor that provides group, individual, and family therapy sessions to people struggling with alcohol or drug problems. I am a mental health service provider, trained to work with individuals, families, and groups in treating mental, behavioral, and emotional problems and disorders.

I truly enjoy working with my clients on the variety of life's ups and downs. Generally, most of my work is with adults; however, I also see adolescents beginning at 16-years-old. Over the years, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, and some of the more severe mental health problems. My other experience includes working with self-harm and suicidal behaviors, as well as behavior management.

While working with couples and families, I often see this pattern of listening to respond or proclaiming an assumption before truly hearing their loved one. It’s an unfortunate habit that can create insecurity, fear, anxiety, and distrust in relationships. Sometimes, slowing down and paying closer attention to the pattern of communication will help us catch these fears, concerns, insecurities or misunderstandings.
