Within therapy, I will aim to meet you where you are, developing an understanding of your strengths, struggles, and goals. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and seek to develop trust by creating an affirming and validating space that supports your healing. Within therapy, I will support you in deepening your understanding of yourself, building more self-compassion, strengthening your sense of connectedness (to yourself and others), and developing your sense of self-efficacy. I seek to support you not only in changing behaviors, but in better understanding the function of these behaviors and find deeper healing.
Some of my specialties include adult and adolescent anxiety, trauma, insomnia, and relational concerns. I am passionate about improving access to quality mental health care and have a particular interest in serving individuals who hold marginalized and minoritized identities (e.g., LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC).
I believe that each individual is the expert in their own experiences; I aim to be a collaborator in the healing process.
